















A seminar on Information and Development of Resilient and Progressive Community was held at the Myanmar Radio and Television Auditorium in Tatkone Township, Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.
The seminar was attended by the Chairman of the Information and Development of Resilient and Progressive Community, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, the Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council U Than Tun Oo, invited guests, and officials. First, ethnic artists from MRTV performed a song titled "Together to the Golden Land."
Following this, a video clip titled "Towards a Resilient and Progressive Community" was shown. Then, the Chairman of the Working Committee, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn, stated that it’s being strived in various ways and in a timely manner to ensure the public receives and knows the true news.
He urged the public to critically discern between fake and real news when using social network platforms and to only view knowledge that is beneficial for economic and social purposes. He also requested everyone to cooperate in working together to achieve an improved community and a life filled with trust and happiness in the coming times.
Subsequently, the Union Minister presented 177 MRTV DTH dishes and 110 MRTV DVB-T2 Set-Top Boxes for the 6 wards of Tatkone Township and 49 village tracts. Then, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo delivered remarks and presented 72 MRTV DTH dishes for one Township Education Office, the Township Management and Administration Committee, 30 basic education high schools, and 34 basic education middle schools within Tatkone Township. Furthermore, the Union Minister, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman and officials distributed 15 MRTV DTH dishes and 30 MRTV DVB-T2 Set-Top Boxes to attendees of the seminar via a lucky draw.
Afterwards, famous singers performed songs, and the Yein dance troupe from Myanmar Radio and Television performed a dance to the song "May All Flowers Bloom." Following this, the attendees of the seminar on Information and Development of Resilient and Progressive Community toured the Diamond Jubilee Museum and the news studios at Myanmar Radio and Television.
