







Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing delivered a speech at the scientific workshop held in Moscow of the Russian Federation on Thursday.
The workshop was titled "Youth and Future Myanmar - Science and Technology". Before his speech, the Acting President and his delegation attentively viewed the scientific and technological analyses and presentations on various sectors displayed in the poster session.
And, at the workshop, the Acting President stressed that today, the country is in great need of many experts in the fields of science and technology, energy, industrial technology, agriculture, livestock, and manufacturing technology for national development.
Although the working-age population ratio in the country is large, there is still a human resource gap in the industrial, agricultural, and manufacturing sectors. He also emphasized the need to effectively utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, build a solid AI technology ecosystem, and nurture high-quality human resources.
Regarding the nuclear energy sector, he stated that Myanmar must work towards the development of nuclear technology and the peaceful use of nuclear energy. Following this, representative trainees from various civilian universities in the Russian Federation who are studying there led discussions and presented analyses on scientific and technological topics. And, the Acting President along with the attending Union Ministers and officials, asked clarifying questions, offered suggestions, and engaged in reciprocal discussions concerning the presentations.
