Departure for Russian Federation: Acting President departed for Russian Federation

At the invitation of the President of Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin, a high-level Myanmar delegation, led by the Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing departed from Nay Pyi Taw Tatmadaw Airport on a special aircraft in the morning on September 24, to attend the World Atomic Week Forum - 2025 in Moscow, Russian Federation.

The high-level Myanmar delegation led by the Acting President was seen off at the airport by Commission Vice-Chairman, Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Commission Member Prime Minister U Nyo Saw, Commission Member, Executive Chief U Aung Lin Dwe, other Commission Members, Union Ministers, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar Mr. Iskander Azizov, Senior Tatmadaw Officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, officials from the Embassy and the Military Attaché Office of the Russian Federation in Myanmar.

Accompanying the Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission on the trip were Commission Secretary, Joint Executive Chief General Ye Win Oo, Commission Member, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, Union Ministers Dr. Thet Khaing Win, Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, and U Ko Ko Lwin, Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, Senior Tatmadaw Officials from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Deputy Ministers, and Military and Civilian officials.

Later, the special aircraft carrying the Acting President, the Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, and members arrived at Tamarshelva သာမာရှယ်ဗာ Airport in Novosibirsk နိုဗာစီဗစ်, Russian Federation. The Governor of the Novosibirsk region, Mr. Travnikov Andrey Aleksandrovich and officials welcomed and saw them off at the airport, it’s reported. Subsequently, the Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Chairman of the National Security and Peace Commission, and the Governor of the Novosibirsk region met at the airport reception hall. During the meeting, they were hospitably served with traditional Myanmar tea leaves, a selection of prepared fish dishes, and traditional tea prepared in Myanmar style. the gifts were exchanged afterward, it’s learnt.
