Futsal Asia Cup Qualifying: Myanmar beat Maldives with 7-3 goals

The 2026 Futsal Asia Cup qualifying match between the Myanmar national futsal team and the Maldives national futsal team was held at the MFF Futsal Stadium in Yangon in the evening of September 22.

During the competition of the 2026 Futsal Asia Cup qualifying match between the Myanmar national futsal team and the Maldives national futsal team, the Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, region ministers, Myanmar Football Federation President U Zaw Zaw and officials, as well as football fans, watched and supported the event.

At the end of the match, the Myanmar national futsal team won with 7 goals to the Maldives national futsal team's 3 goals. The Myanmar national futsal team is in Group (Z) of the 2026 Futsal Asia Cup qualifiers, competing against the Maldives team and the Afghanistan team. After playing one match and earning 3 points, they will compete against the Afghanistan team on September 24, it’s reported.
