6th Coordination Meeting: CCC Chairman delivered the opening remarks

The Sixth Coordination Meeting of the Central Census Commission was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Immigration and Population in Nay Pyi Taw on September 22.

The meeting was convened to ensure the successful release of the Union Report of the 2024 Population and Housing Census. The event was attended by U Chairman of the Central Census Commission and Union Minister for Immigration and Population, Myint Kyaing, who delivered the opening address.

In his opening remarks, Union Minister U Myint Kyaing explained that the meeting was organized to coordinate and discuss the necessary tasks, in accordance with the agenda of the upcoming National-level ceremony for releasing the Union Report of the 2024 Population and Housing Census.

The aim is to enable commission members and relevant departmental organizations to collaborate sector-wise, propose requirements, and hold discussions. He urged attendees to openly discuss action plans, necessary support, and coordination needed to complete assigned tasks on time, assuring that requirements would be promptly addressed.

Following this, Secretary of the Central Census Commission and Deputy Minister for Immigration and Population, U Htay Hlaing, provided a detailed explanation of the preparations for holding the census Union Report release ceremony. Representatives from the Central Census Commission members and relevant departments then explained and discussed the sector-specific preparations and requirements needed for the successful holding of the ceremony.

Afterward, the Chairman of the Central Census Commission and Union Minister coordinated and addressed the needs raised during the presentations. In his concluding remarks, he emphasized that any further requirements for the successful holding of the ceremony should be reported promptly for collective efforts, after which the meeting was concluded.
