Goodwill Visit to PRC: C-in-C (Navy) paid goodwill visit to PRC

At the invitation of Rear Admiral  Cui Yuzhong, Deputy Commander of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (Navy), Myanmar delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Navy Admiral Htein Win paid a goodwill visit to the People's Republic of China from 14th to 20th September.

The visit aims to enhance friendship and cooperation between the two navies of Myanmar and China. During the visit in Beijing, Myanmar delegation was warmly welcomed by Rear Admiral  Cui Yuzhong, at the headquarters of People's Liberation Army (Navy) on 16th of September.

After receiving the slute by the guard of honour, both Admiral Htein Win and Chinese Rear Admiral Cui Yuzhong inspected the guard of honor. At the meeting hall, official clarified about the Chinese Navy and frankly exchanged views regarding the cooperation between the two navies and military trainings.

Myanmar delegation also attended the dinner hosted by the Deputy Commander of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (Navy). On 17th September, Myanmar delegation observed destroyer at North Sea Fleet in ChinTaung City where officials made a clarification on the destroyer.

At the headquarters of North Sea Fleet, Commander and officials welcomed Myanmar delegation and presented about the North Sea Fleet.  On 18th September, Myanmar delegation toured Navy Submarine Academy where officials elaborated the history of Academy and trainings.

There, they viewed library, Simulator trainers in the compound and then visited Navy Museum. On 19th of September, Myanmar delegation arrived at Shanghai Hudong-Zhonghua dockyard in Shanghai where they heard the status of dockyard presented by officials. During visit in China, Myanmar delegation also visited the significant places including Ling Guang temple and Great Wall, it’s learnt.
