Dinner Reception : Meeting with ethnic representatives from Shan State

A dinner reception for representatives of Ethnic Literature and Culture Associations from Shan State was held at the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs on the 19th of September with the attendance of Union Minister Lt-Gen Yar Pyae.

In his speech, the Union Minister said it is the 8th excursion of the Ministry and it will ensure exchanging views and enhancing friendship between representatives. All round development of peaceful regions have been seen during the excursion.

The Union Minister urged all to cooperate for Unity and strive to build the Union based on Democracy and Federal system with the Union Spirit.  After presenting the gifts by representatives from Ethnic Literature and Culture Associations from Shan State  to Union Minister and Deputy Minister, they then also returned commemorative gifts.

The Deputy Minister then expressed words of thanks. Next, the Union Minister and official had dinner together with the representatives and enjoyed the performances.
