





The International Financial Reporting Standards Diploma Course (Batch-1, Level – III), opened in Nay Pyi Taw by the Union Auditor General’s Office and the Advanced Accounting and Auditing Training School under the supervision of the Myanmar Accountancy Council, held its graduation ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw on September 18, through a hybrid system.
At the graduation ceremony, Chair of Myanmar Accountancy Council and Union Auditor General, Dr. Khin Naing Oo, addressed the graduates, stating that by adhering to and applying IFRS standards in the preparation of financial statements, they will be able to produce responsible, accountable, and transparent financial reports. S
he emphasized that this will enhance the performance of staff and lead to better financial management. Therefore, graduates are urged to continuously study the evolving field of accountancy and practically apply their knowledge in the workplace to contribute to the nation’s economic development.
Following this, on behalf of the graduates, one trainee from the Road Department under the Ministry of Construction, expressed words of gratitude. A total of 41 trainees attended the course, including 10 trainees from the Union Auditor General's Office and 31 trainees from various ministries. Those who successfully pass Part (3) will be awarded diplomas, it’s learnt.
