New Facility: Inaugurating the City Hall & awarding outstanding student

Acting President Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the opening ceremony of new city hall building in Dwei Township, Thanintharyi Region on Wednesday.

After cutting the ceremonial ribbons, the Senior General unveiled the new building, followed by sprinkling scented water to the new facility. Under the guidance of the SSPC Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, the new one-storey RCC city hall building with 40,364 square meter was constructed in 2023-2024 Fiscal Year. 

In the subsequent event in conjunction with the award presenting ceremony, the Chief Minister made clarification related with the building. Speaking on the occasion, the Senior General called for all citizens to become educated individuals so as to ensure peace, stability and development of the country.

As the government is striving for the development of the country’s education sector, tripartite efforts play vital role to nurture physical and mental strength generations. During the award presenting ceremony, the Senior General and wife presented honourable award to the 6-distintion winner Ma Myat Yadana Thin of 2024-2025 Matriculation Examination.  After the ceremony, the Senior General cordially greeted the outstanding student and her parents.
