10th anniversary of CRDF: President Office Ministry (2) UM attended the ceremony

The ceremony for the 10th anniversary of the China Rural Development Foundation (CRDF) was held at the Wyndham Grand Yangon Hotel in Mingala Taungnyunt Township, Yangon on September 15.

The event was attended by U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for the Ministry (2) of the President's Office, Ms. Cao Jing, Chargé d'affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Myanmar, Mr. Liu Wenkui, Vice Chairman of the CRDF as well as officials, donors, and representatives from the ministries of Religious Affairs and Culture, the Ministry of Education, and other invited guests.

Union Minister U Ko Ko Hlaing, Ms. Cao Jing, and Mr. Liu Wenkui delivered speeches. They then cut the 10th anniversary cake for the CRDF. Following this, the CRDF and its partner organizations signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).

The Union Minister and the Vice Chairman of the CRDF presented gifts to the donors to honor their contributions. A representative of the donors gave a thank-you speech. After that, students from the Myanmar Maritime University and Basic Education Primary School No. 18 in Hlaingthaya Township performed dances.

The Union Minister and other officials watched and applauded the performances before the ceremony concluded. Over the past ten years, the CRDF's office in Myanmar has fully implemented poverty reduction projects in line with its "Great Love" philosophy and the Belt and Road Initiative.

The foundation has provided nutritious food to children in most states of Myanmar, donated solar lights to students' families in areas without electricity, offered scholarships and skills training to university students, and installed water purifiers in villages.
