Honouring Event : ISPE Team honoured for advancing to the Preliminary

A ceremony to honour the ISPE WFC (Myanmar) team who qualified for AFC Women’s Champions  League 2025/2026 (Preliminary) was held at the Institute of Sports and Physical Education in Yangon on Saturday.

Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Hotels and Tourism Jeng Phang Naw Taung attended the ceremony and made a speech.

The Union Minister praised the team’s performance and encouraged them to maintain their strong spirit as they prepare for the next stage of the competition, to be held from November 9 to 15 in Myanmar, Vietnam, and China. He also expressed confidence that the team would bring home a gold medal in the upcoming 33rd Southeast Asian Games scheduled for December. During the ceremony, cash rewards were presented to the qualified team.
