Preparation for University Exam : Union Minister calls for exam security

With university exams approaching, Union Minister Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein urged all universities under the Department of Higher Education to ensure tight security of exam papers, prevent loss of answer sheets, and maintain accuracy.

Speaking via online meeting with deputy ministers, rectors, professors, and officials, the Union Minister stressed the need to create a safe and supportive environment for students during exams, to ensure question confidentiality and exam integrity, to conduct university sports events according to the official calendar, to celebrate teacher appreciation events in line with tradition and university values, to promote academic discussions and research seminars, to keep proper library usage records and to base curriculum alignment for Grades 10–12 with the national syllabus committee.

The Union Minister also noted that universities are vital in developing human resources and emphasized the importance of implementing policies properly. Deputy Minister Dr. Zaw Myint and directors-general also joined the discussion, and follow-up actions will be taken based on needs raised during the meeting.
