








Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, together with concerned officials, on Friday inspected preparations for reopening basic education schools in Loikaw Township that were damaged by terrorist insurgents, as well as the completed repairs of religious buildings.
At Pankan Village Basic Education High School, they oversaw the repairs to damaged offices, classrooms and the school library, cleaning up activities, and heard reports on the progress. The Chief Minister instructed the relevant officials to ensure peaceful learning, access to drinking water and electricity for students, and the cleaning and greening of the school compound and its surroundings.
He then coordinated the necessary arrangements. Upon arrival at No. 4 Basic Education High School in Mong Lone Ward, the Chief Minister inspected repair tasks for offices and classrooms and heard reports. The Chief Minister instructed for school reopening within the set timeframe and coordinated the needs.
He then visited Mong Lone Baptist Church, where he inspected state government-supported repairs to the damaged church and hall and heard the reports. The Chief Minister also instructed to maintain the church premises clean and tidy and coordinated necessary measures.
