Industrial Development : Machinery Supervision Committee held its meeting

The Machinery Supervision Committee held its meeting at the Ministry of Industry on 11th September with the attendance of Union Minister Dr. Charlie Than.

In his speech, the Union Minister highlighted the purpose of the meeting which is to seek approval for 5 orders of fund transfer for 2025-2026 Fiscal Year, submitted by ministries and organizations, to accelerate earthquake damaged machinery maintenance and restoration process and to make discussion on the amendments of Machinery Management Procedure (draft).

The Union Minister also instructed on adding precautionary measures in machinery maintenance procedures and systematic practice of quality assurance system for the development of industries. During the meeting, committee members, responsible officials from ministries of industry, agriculture, livestock and irrigation and construction made clarifications on fund transfer cases and presented explanations and suggestions on machinery management procedures drafts.
