









Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin and officials provided rice supplies to 2,102 displaced families , living in 54 temporary shelters in Sittwe Township. The ceremony was held at Shwe Zeti Monastery, and a total of 2,778 rice bags with 19 baskets per family were distributed.
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of peace and rule of law for regional development and assured that both the state and union governments are continuing to support displaced persons with basic needs, education, job opportunities, and monthly cash aid of 20,000 kyat per person. He encouraged residents to maintain cleanliness, unity, and discipline while staying in shelters and to prepare to become contributors to their home communities when they return.
The Chief Minister and officials also observed health awareness programs and mobile medical services provided by the Department of Traditional Medicine for the displaced people.
