Study Tour: SSPC Chairman tours in Harbin of China

Acting President and Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who is currently in China left for Harbin from Beijing Capital International Airport on September 4th.

The delegation was seen off by the officials from Beijing Municipal Government. At their arrival at Taiping International Airport in Harbin, the delegation was welcomed by the Deputy Minister from the Chinese government and officials.

Then, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman and delegation visited Harbin Institute of Technology where they were welcomed by Chairman of Institute Mr. Han Jie Cai and officials. After watching the video clip of the Institute, the officials made clarification about research on missiles, rockets and satellites production, nuclear and thermonuclear weapons invention, and their success in space exploration.

Then, the delegation toured around the gallery display of moon landing, launching satellites and Chinese astronauts. During the visit, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman discussed technology sharing on space exploration between Myanmar and Harbin Institute of Technology.

In the evening, the Acting Presitent and SSPC Chairman proceeded to Harbin Electric Corporation and toured around gallery display of the company’s operations on production of generators and related machineries to distribute electricity through hydropower, wind powered, nuclear powered, coal-fired as well as implementations on Green Power Energy production and electronic devices.

The delegation also viewed around the machineries tools and equipment production, using AI system in the factory compound and the Acting President and SSPC Chairman discussed matters on cooperation of hydropower plants in Myanmar.
