OIC holds special meeting on Palestine

The Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held a special meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Aribia on Friday. The meeting stressed that any policy attempting to displace Palestinians, annex, invade, and destroy Palestinian lands would be firmly rejected.

The meeting took place following the emergency Arab summit hosted by Egypt on Tuesday, where a comprehensive plan to rebuild Gaza without displacing its residents was approved. The Secretary-General of OIC, reiterated support for the plan, adopted by Arab leaders in the meeting and firmly supported the Palestinians’ right to live on their land. He called for implementing the two-state solution through greater political and economic efforts.
