Ecuadorian forces raid drug gangs’ houses, seized $200,000 worth of cocaine

Ecuadorian military forces and government officials carried out operations against crime and drug trafficking groups in Duran, a coastal town in the southwest that has seen a sharp rise in violent crimes. They used explosives to destroy a house that they said was used by criminal groups and seized drugs, ammunition, explosives, and rifles. A dozen people were arrested.
