Austrian President swears in conservative-led government

Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen has sworn in a new conservative-led government, with People's Party (OeVP) leader Christian Stocker sworn in as chancellor. The formation of the three-party coalition ends Austria’s longest period without a government in modern history, following the September elections in which the far-right Freedom Party (FPOe) won but was unable to form a government.
