A high-level Mexican delegation visits Washington for talks with counterparts

A high-level Mexican delegation, including Foreign Minister, Security Minister, and Defense Minister, visits Washington for talks with US counterparts, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi. 

"It was a very positive meeting, a meeting that fulfilled all expectations very well," Mexican Foreign Minister told journalists. US President Donald Trump's month-long pause expires on March 4, and he affirmed on February 27 that the proposed tariffs on Canada and Mexico "would go into effect, as scheduled."
