Libya and Somalia vow to 'strengthen' security and economic ties

Libya and Somalia have vowed to strengthen their economic and security ties following a bilateral meeting of the country's leaders in Tripoli. The chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohamed al-Menfi, said his country would support Somalia "until it regains stability," while Somalia's leader, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, said that by working together the two countries would "achieve remarkable progress."
