




The 29th edition of the Pan-African Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO) began in Burkina Faso and is set to last till March 3. Burkina Faso's military leader and the President of Chad attend the opening ceremony, with the Burkinabe minister of culture said, "African cinema, far from being a simple representation of reality, is a means of resistance, proof of resilience and a strong symbol of emancipation."
