Venezuela reschedules parliamentary and regional elections for May 25

The Venezuelan National Electoral Council [CNE] announced it has rescheduled parliamentary and regional elections for May 25, 2025.

The President of the CNE, Elvis Amoroso, explained in a statement to the press that the change was made "at the request of the various actors of the democratic life of the country that have decided to participate fully and actively in the electoral process."
