Israeli companies display weapons at UAE defence fair

Israeli arms manufacturers showcased their weapons and other products at a defence fair in the United Arab Emirates on Monday. An Israeli pavilion stands among industry giants at the International Defence Exhibition and the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition held in the Gulf country’s capital Abu Dhabi until Friday. 

The UAE normalised ties with Israel in 2020 under the Abraham Accords brokered by the United States during the first Donald Trump administration. Since then, Israeli arm manufacturer EMTAN has attended every defence fair in Abu Dhabi.
