Appointment of new nurse: MoH UM presented appointment letters

The Ministry of Health held a ceremony for the appointment of newly graduated nurses at the Ministry of Health, Office No. 4, Naypyidaw, on 24th December through a hybrid system.

During the ceremony, Union Minister for Health, Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win, explained that the purpose of appointing the newly graduated nurses was to motivate and recognize their efforts, ensure that they are assigned to their respective duties with enthusiasm and joy, and to help improve the quality of nursing care.

The goal is for the newly appointed nurses to contribute to providing comprehensive health care to the people. The Union Minister also expressed that the newly appointed nurses should consider their national duties as significant and serve the people with professionalism, adhering to the ethical standards of the nursing profession. He encouraged them to treat patients with warmth and compassion and to maintain professional integrity when interacting with the public.

After that, the Union Minister presented appointment letters to three newly graduated nurses on behalf of 149 successful graduates from Naypyidaw and Bamaw Nursing and Midwifery Training Schools. One of the nurses expressed gratitude.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, as a gesture of honoring and welcoming, the Union Minister and distinguished guests took commemorative photos with the newly appointed nurses and enjoyed the fresh foods together with them in cordial and friendly manner.

In total, 1,775 nurses from Naypyidaw Council, Regions and States were appointed as newly graduated nurses. Additionally, in October of this year, 154 graduates holding a degree in nursing science and a diploma in dental health were also appointed as newly graduated nurses.
