Campaign to Promote Peaceful Elections

Indonesian Secretary General of Communication and Information Ministry said in Jakarta that there were three main themes in the campaign. The first is a campaign to lure young people to participate in the elections.
The government wants to educate young people, because young voters age 17 to 40 are dominating the 2024 election in Indonesia. Young people accounted for around 53 to 55 percent of around 107 million voters next year.
Meanwhile, the second theme of the peaceful election campaign is anti-money politics, in which the ministry works together with the corruption eradication commission, KPK. The third theme is promoting peace among voters, which means all voters are always brothers and sisters despite different choices.
