Indonesia & Saudi strengthen bilateral Cooperation

Indonesia and Saudi Arabia continue to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various sectors.  

During the 93rd Saudi Arabia National Day celebration, the Indonesian Vice President’s Spokesperson Masduki Baidlowi said that the bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and the gulf country spans from people-to-people, business-to-business, and government-to-government.

Indonesia hopes for a formal scholarship program between the two countries to boost the people-to-people ties. He explained that more Saudi companies are investing in Indonesia, especially in the food industry. President Joko Widodo will visit Saudi Arabia on October 19 and 20 to deepen relations.
