Cambodia: Hun Sen's son elected as new PM

Cambodia's parliament voted Tuesday to confirm long-time ruler Hun Sen's eldest son as prime minister, completing a dynastic handover of power after last month's one-sided election. Hun Manet, already a member of the ruling Cambodian People's Party's (CPP) powerful permanent committee, has served as commander of the Royal Cambodian Army since 2018.
