Russia to issue e-visas for Vietnamese nationals

Vietnam has been included in the list of 55 countries and territories whose citizens are eligible for an e-visa to travel and work in Russia starting August 1. The country will officially issue electronic visas to citizens of 52 Russia-friendly countries and territories, along with Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar.

It allows people to enter Russia for various purposes and stay for a maximum of 16 days. The visa is valid for 60 days from the date of issue. The Russian e-visa programme was introduced in July 2020, allowing citizens of eligible countries to obtain a visa online for their trip to Russia.
