Bilateral cooperation in various fields between China-Guyana

The Guyanese president is on a stay in China from July 25 to August 1, in which he attended the opening ceremony of the 31st summer FISU World University Games. China and Guyana signed a joint declaration on Monday, agreeing to expand bilateral cooperation in various fields, including trade, investment, infrastructure, energy and agriculture.

In the declaration signed on the occasion of Guyanese Presidentvisited in China, Guyana reiterated its support for the one-China principle, affirming China-proposed initiatives including the Belt and Road Initiative, Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, and Global Civilization Initiative.The two sides also agreed to boost cooperation in culture and education, and to push forward student exchange programs.
