Long March 2D carrier successfully lifts satellites into orbit

China's Long March 2D carrier rocket successfully lifted four new satellites into space on Sunday. The rocket blasted off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province.

The satellites are mainly for providing commercial remote sensing services and gathering related technological data. It is the 479th mission for the Long March rocket family.
