President inspects Surakarta-Gemolong-Purwodadi road rehab project

Indonesian President Joko Widodo inspected on Sunday the reconstruction of the surakarta-gemolong-purwodadi road in central java. The president said provincial roads in central java are generally good and the government has applied better materials in this road, as the infrastructure has often been damaged for a long time due to unstable soil conditions.

He said road rehab projects in all regions throughout Indonesia will continue and all process will be fully underway by the end of July. The president hopes that with a stronger construction the road will be in good condition for a much longer period. In that occasion, the President also emphasized government's commitment to continue to accelerate road rehabilitation projects across Indonesia.
