


Pita Limjaroenrat, the leader of the Move Forward Party that won Thailand's election this week, officially announced the formation of an eight-party coalition government on Thursday, with a combined 313 seats.
Sunday's election saw Move Forward capture most seats in the lower house, although it failed to win a majority. The Pheu Thai Party, affiliated with former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, came second.
