Large fire in Dhaka market

Firefighters were working to control a massive blaze that burned through a popular clothing market and spread to other small markets and buildings in Bangladesh's capital Tuesday.

No casualties have been reported so far. The fire started at Bangabazar Market in Dhaka at 6:10 a.m. and firefighters from 47 units were working to extinguish the blaze.

It continued to rage six hours after it began. Fire service official said they didn't know how the fire started. Fires are common in commercial places in Bangladesh because of lax monitoring and lack of fire safety arrangements.
