N. Korean leader faces farming problems

North Korea began a large-scale meeting of its ruling Workers’ Party with leader Kim Jong Un on Sunday.

The meeting is focused around farming, with the party calling 2022 as the first year of the "rural revolution in the new era" as a result of their programme implementation, according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA). Observers see the meeting as an opportunity for the party to discuss the “urgent task” of improving its agricultural sector.
