China Resumes Scheduled Passenger Flights with 58 Countries

As China downgraded management of COVID-19 to Class B, it coincided with the peak season of China's civil aviation during Spring Festival travel season, with the market recovered quickly and the operation turned to be safe and stable. According to the Civil Aviation Administration, judging from the actual flight situation last week, China has resumed scheduled passenger flights with 58 countries.

Shang Kejia, deputy director of the Transportation Department of the Civil Aviation Administration, said that 98 Chinese and foreign airlines operated a total of 795 flights. The number of flights between China and six Asia-Pacific countries including Thailand, Cambodia, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam increased by 226, accounting for more than 70% of the total increase in flights.
