Education and Development: Ethnic Language, border trade and establishing Flower City

A Seminar on Capacity Building of Ethnic Language Teachers in Kachin State concluded on Satruday.

Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan attended the closing ceremony held at Myitkyina Education Degree College, and made a speech. He urged the teachers to relay the mother language to the next generation whil striving for promoting the ethinc literature and safeguarding the culture. It was followed by presenting of completion certificates to the teacher trainees.

At the coordination meeting of Kachin State Investment Commission, Chief Minister U Khet Htien Nan discussed to implement KanPaikTee Border Trade Zone construction project with is essential for trading between Myanmar and China. He stressed to carry out the tasks in line with the rules and regulations.

Likewise, the Chief Minister held a coordination meeting for implementation of Myitkyina as a flower city. He urged all the staff from development affairs committee and people to make cooperative efforts in establishing the flower city. Officials reported on the plans for growing ornamental trees, landscaping and upgrading of gardens and parks.
