Drug Facility Raided: Millions of stimulant tablets, arms and ammunition seized

Security forces raided a drug-producing facility in LwelTawKham Village-tract in Tachileik Township of eastern Shan State.

The raid led to seizures of over 2.7 million stimulant tablets, hundreds of kilograms of stimulant powder, 3 kilograms of raw opium, 29 kilograms of caffeine, related materials for stimulant tablet production, arms and ammunition.

8 men were arrested along with the seizures. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
