Technical Research Symposium: Commemorating Anniversary of Ministry of Construction

A Technical Research Symposium took place on Monday to commemorate the anniversary of the Ministry of Construction.

In this Symposium at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw, Union Minister U Myo Thant said that the symposium was also designed to help the Ministry’s personnel to cultivate innovative and creative thinking, and to discuss and exchange advanced technical sciences, information, experiences and research findings.

He also expressed his finding that the research papers for this Symposium will benefit the Ministry as they are reliable documents that can be used in the construction sector.

The Symposium continued with experts from the Union Minister's Office and departments of building, road, bridge and urban and housing development presenting their technical research papers according to their respective topics.

Among the papers presented in advance for today's symposium, only nine papers were selected and the rest of the papers will be read at the next symposium.
