102nd Anniversary Celebration: National Victory Day observed in Yangon

102nd Anniversary Celebration of National Victory Day was held in Yangon on Thursday. Union Minister U Ko Ko attended the ceremony, organized by the Young Men Buddhist Association (YMBA) in Insein Township.

The Union Minister, together with the Yangon Command Commander Maj-Gen Nyunt Win Swe and attendees commenced the ceremony by singing the song “Doe Bamar”, followed by playing of the victory gong 27 times.

The ceremony continued with reading of the message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. YMBA Chairman also made a speech, and presented medals to seven recipients.

The Chairman also accepted cash donation by the well-wishers, and the ceremony then ended with the song Zarti Man.
