Prisoners Released: Kengtung prison released 43 prisoners

According to the pardon order 70/2022 issued by the State Administration Council, a total of 43 prisoners from Kengtung prison in Shan State (East) were released on 17th November.

The prisoners eligible to the pardon order were talked some sense by the deputy chief of state police force Police Col. Myint Kyaw, chairman of district administration council U Win Min Thein and officials and handed the release certificates.

Altogether 43 prisoners including one foreigner, 37 male and 5 female prisoners were released from Kengtung prison on this day, it’s reported.
