National Victory Day: PM sends message on the 102nd anniversary occasion

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing sent a message on the 102 anniversary of National Victory Day which falls on 17th November.

The Prime Minister expressed that the government is striving to ensure a strong and dynamic Union spirit, the genuine spirit of patriotism, to respect and promote the customs and traditions of all National peoples and preserve and safeguard their cultural heritage and national characteristics and to enhance the health, fitness and education quality of the entire nation.

Efforts are being made for participation of entire people in building a union based on democracy and federal system with the united strength of all national brethren. He added that the government is paving way to achieving peace based on the Constitution 2008 and Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement by taking lessons on the history.

Dialogues have been made by inviting the representatives from regions, states and zones for ending armed conflicts and achieving armed conflicts for the interest of the union and national people. He expressed that the current obstacles could only be tackle through dialogues and hope to cooperate in the process for peace, stability and prosperity of the nation.

Sine education is the foundation for development of the nation, comprehensive education for KG+9 and the Prime Minister called for participation of the public including teachers. All are urged to strive for emergence of the educated and qualified citizens and safeguard the essence of national language, literature, culture, art, customs and heritage as a national duty.
