Regional Development: Road construction and potato plantations inspected

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan together with the State Ministers and departmental officials inspected the road construction site in Puta-O Plain circular road in Puta-O township on 15th November.

The state Chief minister and party looked into thriving of potato plantations in Nyae Hsar Lardi village on Puta-O plain circular road as the winter crop cultivated by the locals with the technical assistance of the District Agriculture Department and coordinated engagement with cooperative syndicates for getting market for the potatoes planted by the locals.

On arrival at the briefing hall of Hsahtila village, officials reported construction tasks on the 7-mile long road session from Yay Ni To to Hsahtilaw village and future work programs to be implemented by financial year.

In response to the reports, the Chief Minister discussed completion of the tasks as much as possible year by year and construction of 21-mile Kaung Hmu Lone-Man Noe- Pan Sat-Hton Tan-Hsar Hta snow-capped mountain road sesson in Machan Baw Township and looked into extension of the road session. The Chief Minister and party then inspected the gravels for PutaO plain circular road and provided the needs.
