




The opening ceremony of legal knowledge dissemination training course for the senior officials was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on November 15.
At the opening ceremony, the Union Minister and Union Attorney General Dr. Thida Oo said the training course is opened according to the guidance of the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister for the director generals and deputy director generals serving in at the relevant departments and organizations to acquire Diploma of Law after studying the legal courses and the certificate acknowledged possession of legal knowledge and skills.
During the training, the legal knowledge which are deserved to understand for the senior officials including state constitution, Civil Service Personnel Law, drafting law, scrutinizing commercial contracts, practically applied international law and ASEAN laws, applied criminal and special laws, civil legal cases, general legal consultation will be lectured. The trainees who attended the training to be completed will be conferred the certificate acknowledged possession of legal knowledge and skills. After opening the legal training school, it will be implemented to confer the diploma in law.
After fixing by scrutinizing the weaknesses and advantages at the training batch (1), this training is opened again. The training will be for 9 weeks with three days a week and two hours a day from 8 to 10 AM. The status of trainees’ attendance to complete the training will be reported to the office of state administration council. It’s believed the trainees will enable to apply the legal knowledge lectured by this training in the workplace.
The opening ceremony of the training course was attended by the Union Ministers U Ko Ko Hlaing, U Myo Myint Oo, Dr. Htay Aung, U Saw Tun Aung Myint, member of state constitutional tribunal U Kyaw Hsan, member of union civil service board U Hsan Myint, member of Anti-Corruption Commission Daw Khin Cho Ohn, field expert U Kyaw Sein and the senior officials from the ministry of legal affairs.
A total of 35 director general and deputy director general level trainees from the state constitutional tribunal, ministries, union civil service board, Anti-Corruption Commission attend the training course, it’s learnt.
