





The emerald green projects appear to be substantive beneficial for the regional development, the revolving loans have been disbursed for the self-administered zones to implement the emerald green project, all stakeholders concerned are urged to put exerted efforts for the economic development of the respective regions, said, the deputy minister for agriculture, livestock breeding and irrigation Dr. Aung Gyi at the meeting with the state and district level agricultural officials at the Khemarat guest house of Shan State Government in Kengtung Township in the morning on 13th November.
At the meeting, the officials concerned clarified the related sector and the deputy minister supplemented necessaries for the regional development based on the agriculture and livestock breeding.
In the afternoon, the deputy minister visited dried tea leaves distribution center of Lahu and Arkhar Company Limited in HweKhar Village, Kengturn Township, met with the tea leaf grower farmers and discussed requirements including uplifting growing and producing tea leaves, producing of value-added products using the cutting edge technologies, collaboration of regional authorities, farmers groups and private entrepreneurs for acquiring market and sustainable producing of the products.
Next, the deputy minister and officials visited LweMwe Mountain resort and inspected restoration of LweMwe Lake and rock filling works, it’s learnt.
