Eels and crabs export: Over 8 mln USD earned from eels and crabs export to China

Myanmar’s aquatic products such as eels and crabs exporting to China through the Muse 105 miles trade zone started from 20th June this year. In terms of exports to China, about 632.775 tons of crabs and 5.911 million dollars worth eels have already exported. 

Official, Department of Trade, Muse 105 miles Trade Zone, said " We stopped exporting of Aquatic products to China due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the export resumed on 20th June this year and Crabs and Eels are regularly exported. In October, about 632.775 tons of Crabs worth 2.531 million dollars were exported and about 1675.168 tons of eels worth 5.911 million dollars were exported to the China. The crab and eels are mainly exported from Mandalay to Muse. At present, Myanmar regularly exporting to China and earns a handsome prices in the market."

Currently, Myanmar companies are legally connected with China counterparts and exporting crabs and eels to the China market.
