Tazaungdaing Festival: MoI Union Minister joins events at MRTV

The Tazaungdaing Festival of the staff and family members of MRTV was held at the MRTV compound in Tatkon Township on Monday evening.

Before the opening of the festival, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn joined the thousand-oil-lamp festival at the Mahabodhi Pagoda and offered flowers, water and candle lights to the pagoda.

And, the Union Minister and wife Daw Khin Swe Win ceremonially opened the MRTV’s family Tazaungdaing Festival held at the MRTV Park.

Also, the Union Minister and his wife lit candles and offered incense to the Lord Buddha. They also watched and encouraged the launch of 11 hot-air-balloon from the MRTV head office and branches, a music concert, a singing competition participated by the MRTV staff and their families and prizes were awarded to winners.
