Fisheries Resources: 1.5 million fingerlings released into ThanLwin River

1.5 million fingerlings were released into ThanLwin River in TayoatHla Villate of Hpa-an Township in Kayin State on Sunday.

Members of the State Administration Council Mahn Nyein Maung and Saw Daniel, the Union Ministers and Chief Minister attended the ceremony and released the fingerlings into ThanLwin River together with the officials, departmental staff and local people.

Kayin State targets to release 1.2 fingerlings into the natural creeks and rivers, dams and reservoirs and it has exceeded the target of this year. The fingerlings have been incubated at Hpa-an and KyoneDoe Fisheries Camps.
