Tazaungdaing Festival: People perform good deeds at pagodas & take recreation

Being the Tazaungdaing Festival period, the pagodas and temples across the country are crowded with the pilgrims and well-wishers on Sunday.

At UppdaSandhi Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw, people visited the Royal White Elephant Hall, and fed the royal white elephants including Rattha Nandaka who was named the title on October 30th as the country beloved precious white elephant, bringing prosperity and happiness to the nation.

Moreover, people also take recreation at the famous beaches and various tour destinations across the country. To mark the festival, the colourful lightings were illuminated along the street, on the buildings and trees.
