Award Ceremony: IoT Smart Challenge for Agri-Tech Sector

Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San attended the APT Young Professional and Students Programme 2022 “IoT Smart Challenge for Agri-Tech Sector” Award Ceremony via videoconferencing.

In his address, the Union Minister stressed benefits of being a member of the Asia Pacific Telecommunity (APT) and importance of the proper use of the Information and communications technology.

He also expressed his belief that the contest under the theme “IoT Smart Challenge for Agri-Tech Sector” organized by the Myanmar Computer Professionals Association will benefit the development of the country’s agriculture sector.

Also, Secretary General of the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity Mr. Masanori Kondo expressed words of congratulations via online. And, awards were presented to winners in the Junior IoT Smart Challenge Project and the Senior IoT Smart Challenge Project competitions.

It’s reported that with the aid from the APT, under the APT Young Professional and Students Programme, Myanmar held events titled University Robotic Challenge in 2018 and Innovative Robot in 2020.
